By eating sustainable seafood you are helping not to overharvest a species and to avoid eating endangered species. Sustainable seafood is abundant and can withstand regular fishing.

But participation is available to all restaurants that can show a minimum of one sustainable seafood item on their menu, with the potential for improvement to their sustainable seafood options. The staff is provided with education and support materials.

Choosing restaurants that have sustainable seafood is good for the ocean and helps to keep an ecological balance. Not overfishing is helpful for many species and helps to avoid creating endangered species in the future.
